Lady Warrior 98 White ran through the competition at this weekend's MidFest Soccer Classic recording four shutouts and scoring 23 goals on their way to their first tournament Championship.  The Lady Warriors beat a tough Cincinnati United side 5-0 to make it to the finals.  The match was very fast paced and physical, but the girls withstood an early onslaught from CU to go in 2-0 at the half.  The pace of the match took it's toll on CU in the second half, and the Lady Warrior's fitness level stood out as they came out charged up in the second half and added three more goals to seal their date with Kopling Lady Fusion in the finals.

The finals match would prove to be a tougher challenge as the Lady Warriors would face an equally quick and physical Kopling with an hour-and-a-half between matches!  Once again, the Warriors rose to the challenge and set the pace of the match early scoring in the opening minutes.  The Lady Warriors would go on to complete their Championship quest with a 7-0 win.
