In January, some 19 coaches ,administrators, and assistant coaches attended the annual National Soccer Coaches Association Convention (NSCAA) in Baltimore, Maryland.This highly rated convention hosted over 6,000 coaches and representatives covering all levels in soccer plus the prestigeous Major League Soccer (MLS) draw.

Attendees participated in workshops and field clinics done by highly ranked clinicians and presenters from all over the USA and Europe. The purpose of their attendance is to increase their soccer knowledge and a yearly renewal of the latest techniques available. The coaches then come back to the Club and share their knowledge with other Club members. This in turn is reflected in the practices and games for each team.

This is also the first year we have hosted a booth at the Convention. This booth was shared by Veterans Invitational Tournament in Indiana, the Novi Tournament in Michigan, the Pikes Peak Tournament in Colorado and the adidas Warrior Soccer Classic. It was a huge success and we have already begun seeing the benefit in our 2008 applications which are now on going. This event also allows club administrators in meeting with high profile sponsors.
